How does it spotlight and follow people?
Vivint Spotlight Pro and Outdoor Camera Pro (Gen 2) work together to make the Follow feature work. When the camera is in Smart Deter™ mode and Spotlight Pro is set to Follow, the spotlight uses the camera’s computer vision chip to detect a person’s position in the frame, then lights the LED zones corresponding to their real-time movements.
How is this light installed and powered?
Vivint Spotlight Pro mounts to your Outdoor Camera Pro (Gen 2) with an L bracket and mounting plate, and it can also be fastened to the surface behind it. The Spotlight Pro powers up by plugging directly into your outdoor camera.
All Vivint security equipment is expertly installed by Smart Home Pros.
What camera do I need to use with the Vivint Spotlight Pro?
The Spotlight Pro must be paired with the Gen 2 Outdoor Camera Pro. It must be that model because the spotlight works only when synced to the Gen 2’s computer vision chip.
How does the Vivint Spotlight Pro integrate with other Vivint smart home products?
