How Does Vivint's Medical Pendant Work?

Whether you're living alone, or you have an elderly or disabled relative who is, the Vivint medical pendant can offer you valuable peace of mind. Conveniently lightweight, Vivint's medical pendant is also one of the smallest remote pendants in the industry. The pendant is water-resistant and can be worn with the supplied wristband, lanyard or belt clip, or even tucked in a shirt pocket or purse. The medical pendant can also be permanently mounted or secured via the car-visor clip.

To activate the Vivint medical pendant, simply press and hold the activation button for two to three seconds. The LED located on the top of the pendant will illuminate for about one second to confirm an emergency signal was transmitted to the Vivint Central Monitoring Station, where a trained Vivint professional will contact emergency services if needed.

The pendant works when within 300 feet or less of the Vivint SkyControl panel, whether the security system is armed or disarmed. The Vivint SkyControl panel's Medical hotkey also offers seniors and their loved ones a sense of security. Simply press the Medical hotkey button and enjoy 2-Way Voice communication with a trained professional at the Vivint Central Monitoring Station. The professional can talk with you to assess the situation and get the right emergency service on the way quickly.
